The Sandy River (above Salmon River) is in Oregon, near Brightwood. Downstream, the river continues as the Sandy River (Revenue Bridge to Salmon River).

Steelhead are the main catch here. Anglers reported an average of about 25 harvested steelhead a year from 2010 to 2025. The best months are January through March, and the catch peaks in March. Coho average about 19 a year and peak in October. Chinook average about 12 a year and peak in June. These figures count harvested fish only, not fish caught and released.
