About the Pilchuck River

The Pilchuck River is in the Puget Sound region of Washington. It flows into the Snohomish River.

Winter steelhead are the main catch here. Anglers reported an average of about 65 harvested winter steelhead a year from 2004 to 2017. The best months are December through February, and the catch peaks in December. Smaller numbers of summer steelhead, coho and pink salmon are also reported. These figures count harvested fish only, not fish caught and released. Washington catch figures follow the WDFW report year, which runs from April to March.
