About Marine Area 6 (East Strait of Juan de Fuca)

Chinook are the main catch here. Anglers reported an average of about 4,200 harvested Chinook a year from 2004 to 2022. Most of that catch comes in July. Coho average about 4,100 a year and peak in September. Pink salmon average about 3,800 a year and peak in August.
